I’ve never been a big fan of katsu. Pork chop is pork chop. That is until Yabu came. Then I became addicted. More with the unlimited cabbage & soup than anything else actually. Paired with katsu it brings so much joy into my life. Which is funny because it’s just shredded cabbage & I don’t find anything special about it at home. So it’s probably the dressing that adds a dash of magic to it & makes it oh so yummy.

Kimukatsu offers 25 layers of katsu in 7 flavors

MANILA, Philippines – A new Japanese pork cutlet restaurant has come to the country and is seeking to get a sizable portion of the “good [Philippine] market.”

Kimukatsu Philippines has opened its first restaurant at the Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City and is planning to put up four more stores within three years.

Joining the Tonkatsu bandwagon in Manila is Kimukatsu (キムカツ). The most famous pork cutlet restaurant in Japan with multiple locations in Tokyo, Osaka, Yokohama, Sendai, Korea, Hawaii and California, U.S.A, is now in the Philippines.
